Life & Hobbies

“I am Dr. Nicholas Stokey and would like to welcome you to the Riverside Crossing Dental Care Family. I was born and raised in Paxton Nebraska, a small town in the western part of the state. My mother was a music teacher and my father worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Together, my parents' example instilled in me the importance of hard work and service. My family is my first love. My wife, Emily, and I have 3 kids; Jacob, Grace, Luke, and a golden retriever who keeps me busy outside of the office. We love to bike, hunt, fish, and golf. I graduated with distinction though the learning has never stopped. I have continued to take a steady stream of courses devoted to enhancing dental health and achieving the best results for my patients. I am honored to be a part of the Riverside Crossing Dental Care family and look forward to meeting you!”

Throughout her dental career, Dr. Nelson has worked hard to establish great relationships with her patients by practicing comfortable, evidence-based dentistry. Continuing education is very important to Dr. Nelson, as education is ongoing in this profession. This allows her to stay up to date on the most advanced and conservative approaches to provide the best dental experience for our patients’ dental needs. Dr. Nelson strives to provide comprehensive care for her patients, including restorative, endodontic, surgical, orthodontic, and esthetic treatment.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. Dr. Nelson continued on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. 

Dr. Nelson and her husband, Kyle, have an adorable daughter Olivia, who keeps them on their toes! They enjoy staying active with their dogs, Cooper and Charlie, spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, and cheering on the Huskers. Dr. Nelson is so excited to meet her new patients and grow with the Riverside Crossing Dental Care family!
